SuperI [Scorpio Communication]

SuperI is a member of a family of ATM interface cards for workstations.SuperI is a high performance ATM adapter card that provides STS-3interface to SBus machines. The card brings ATM connectivity to Sun'sSPARCstation workstation. Based on ATM Forum UNI specifications, SuperIconnects SBus workstation to LAN and WAN SONET ATM network via an opticallink at a rate of 155 Mbps. SuperI achieves its high perfomance throughsilicon implementation of both ATM and AAL layers. The SuperI is asingle slot bus card.
